Obituary Notice
Julia Ann Hudson, 82, of Little Rock joined her parents and brother in Heaven on January 8, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 5, 1921 to Robert Arch and Julia Rebecca Campbell. She is survived by her children, Becky Harris and husband Jack, Celeste O’Neal and husband Walter, Ray Hudson, Jr. and wife Debra; six grandchildren, Erin Riggs, Walter O’Neal II, Charlie Hudson, Jennifer, Philip and David Tidwell; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Campbell; and niece Robin Nunn. Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, Robert Campbell, Jr. Julia Ann graduated from Little Rock Central in 1938. She dedicated many years to teaching preschoolers at Nalls Memorial Baptist Church, was active in PTA at Joe T. Robinson High School, Briarwood Garden Club, Brady Home Extension Club, YMCA Water Aerobics and Partners for Pinnacle. She was an active member of the West Rock Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham followed by a funeral service at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to West Rock Baptist Church, 14601 Cantrell Rd., Little Rock, 72223.
