John Phillip Geffken
Obituary NoticeJohn Phillip Geffken of Little Rock entered into rest on the morning of Thursday, August 14, 2003 at the age of 54. He was born on March 20, 1949 to Ann and Phil Geffken in Deep River, Connecticut. John worked for the Corp of Engineers in Little Rock, and previously lived in Mountain Home for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Carolyn of 27 years; daughter, Elana; a sister, Susan Kimes of Dallas, and a brother, Bruce Geffken of Maine. A great husband, father, and brother, he will be missed greatly by family and friends. A memorial service and picnic will be held at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park pavilion, Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 4:30 PM. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing John is welcome to attend.
