Obituary Notice

James Clark (Button) Wood, 89, of Washington, D.C., died April 17, 2001 at Sibley Hospital, Washington, D.C. Mr. Wood was born in Mariana, Arkansas and moved to Little Rock as a child. He moved to Washington, D.C. in 1992 following the death of his wife, Frances Kirten Wood, to be near his son James Wood, Jr., and his son's family. Mr. Wood was an active, long time member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Parish, and a supporter of youth athletic programs in Pulaski County. He attended the University of the South at Sewanee in Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 6th at 2:30 P.M. at the columbarium at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, officiated by The Very Reverend Henry Hudson. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
