Obituary Notice

Mary E. (Betty) Ross Thomas, 83, of Little Rock died Friday, April 20, 2001. She was born in Little Rock to Henry Edward and Lelah Weed Ross. She was married to Robert O. Thomas who preceded her in death. Mrs. Thomas was treasurer and member of Woodhaven Missionary Baptist Church and president of the Paschal Heights Neighborhood Garden Club. During the years of raising her children she was a very active volunteer for the Little Rock Public Schools PTA. She was a State Fair, Blue Ribbon Winner, for her wonderful pies and was also a gifted seamstress.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children: Mary Gardner and her husband Frank, Frances Waters and her husband Dale, and June Boyce all of Little Rock, Robert Thomas and his wife Pat, and David Thomas and his wife Debbie all of Perryville, sisters, Frances Greenwood, and Carrie Block and a brother-in-law Ray McCright all of Little Rock and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ross of Crossett and grandchildren Randy, Stuart and Jason Thomas, John Naugher, Kathy Johnson, Kimberley and Brad Boyce and six great-grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Murray followed by burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
