Obituary Notice

Corrine Uptegrove Tankersley, 87, of Little Rock died Wednesday, July 25, 2001. She was born in Ashley County, AR the daughter of Oscar and Jewell Tully Uptegrove. She was married to Grover Tankersley who predeceased her. Mrs. Tankersley was retired from the State Hospital as a licensed psychiatric technician and a member of Park Place Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Yelvington and his wife, Shirley of Shannon Hills, and two daughters, Dorothy Harlan of Little Rock and Jewell Yelvington of North Little Rock., eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Betty Yelvington of Fort Smith. She was also predeceased by a son, Raymond Yelvington and a brother, William Ervin Uptegrove.

There will be a visitation from 6-8:00 pm Friday at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at Park Place Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Saturday officiated by Rev. Ed Stevenson with burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
