Obituary Notice

Elizabeth Steward Roberts, age 87, of Little Rock, died Thursday, August 9, 2001. She was born in Bald Knob, Arkansas the daughter of the late William Ezekiel and Ola Plant Steward. She graduated from Bald Knob High School. She is preceded in death by her husband Bertram J. Roberts, who died in 1992 . Elizabeth was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Rudd Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by a son Phillip J. Roberts and wife Patricia of Little Rock, four grandsons, Bertram J. "Buddy" Roberts, Christopher Michael "Chris" Roberts, Daniel Scott Denley, and Maxwell Shane Denley all of Little Rock, one sister Mildred Matthews of Lafayette, several nieces and nephews and 2 cousins Norma Martin of Little Rock, and Pauline Burt of Minden, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday at the Ruebel Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 A.M. at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Lynn Lindsey. Burial will be at Rest Hills Cemetery, North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
