Obituary Notice

Marjorie Lane Pursley, 76, of Little Rock, died Friday, June 1, 2001. She was born in Gallatin, TN to Edwin Green Lane, Sr and Ruth Day Lane. She moved to Little Rock in 1974 and worked in the circulation department of the Arkansas Gazette for over sixteen years. Marjorie was an active participant at the Little Rock Athletic Club, enjoyed playing bridge, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, John Edwin Ogles and his wife Barbara, of Memphis, TN, Martin Lee Ogles and his wife Kay of Granite Bay, CA and Ruth Pursley Klingbeil and her husband Joe of Little Rock, AR, one sister, Patsy Lane Kelley and her husband Leon of Gallatin, TN, two brothers, Frederick Lane of Memphis, TN and George M. Lane and his wife Bettie of Baton Rouge, LA and six grandsons. She is also survived by her former husband, Andrew G. Pursley of Little Rock.

Memorials may be made to the music fund of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 2601 Cages Bend Rd, Gallatin, TN 37066 or St. Vincent Infirmary Foundation. A memorial service will be held in Gallatin, TN on June 9.
