Socorro Matew Plumey

Obituary Notice

Socorro Mateo Plumey, 85, of Little Rock died Tuesday, July 24, 2001. She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and was married to Angelo Plumey, Sr. After living in New York for several years Mrs. Plumey moved to Little Rock in 1986 after the death of her husband. She did volunteer work for SCAT and loved to quilt and do needlepoint. She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Plumey is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Nunn and her husband, Dr.Gary Nunn of Little Rock and a son, Angelo Plumey, Jr. of Chicago, IL, brothers and sisters in Florida and grandchildren, Gary Nunn, Jr., Angelo Plumey, III, Ricky Plumey, Tony Plumey, and Angela Plumey.

There will be a Rosary held at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a graveside funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1101 W. Markham, 72211.
