Russell Leland "Mac" McCollum, Jr

Russell Leland McCollum, Jr., “Mac,” age 82, of Maumelle, died September 10, 2017. He was born on March 22, 1935 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Russell and Margaret Terry McCollum.

Mac attended the University of Arkansas where he was a Sigma Chi and played on the tennis team. He served in the Army Reserve. He loved the outdoors, hunting, classical music, and opera.

He was a very involved member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Mac is survived by his children, Tracy McCollum Lee and Robin McCollum and his wife Jaye of Butler, PA, and his grandchildren Peter Chapin Lee, Jr, Charles Russell Lee, Tobey McCollum, Daphne McCollum, and Kelly McCollum.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 13th at 1:00PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi, Little Rock 72207.
