Frances Potts BardObituary NoticeFrances Potts Bard, 99, of Little Rock, died June 12, 2005. She was born on January 1, 1906 in Little Rock to the late Walter and Norma Sherman Potts. She was a member of Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, William D. Bard; her daughter, Mildred Elizabeth Benton and one infant grandchild, Benjamin Benton. Survivors include her grandson, Bard Benton and wife Mary Beth, granddaughter, Paula Merchen and husband Russ, and eight great grandchildren, all of the Dallas, Texas area. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Ed Benton and wife Jane of Maumelle; nieces Nora Schleier of Kilgore, Texas and Dixie Ellis of Stafford, Texas. Graveside services were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Roselawn Memorial Park officiated by Reverend Floyd Whatley. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to Arkansas Hospice.
