Obituary Notice

Keith Vinsonhaler, age 72, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday morning. He was born in Little Rock on August 15, 1932 to Janet and Sheldon Vinsonhaler.

He began a career in theatre in Chicago in 1953. He also worked in radio and as a producer/associate producer of over 300 television shows for Universal Studios.

His mother and father, Janet and Sheldon Vinsonhaler, and his sister, Jancy Vinsonhaler preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Katy Vinsonhaler and her two children, Larry Brewer and Sandy Harris and her husband E.J., as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They all reside in Little Rock.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 19, 2004 in the chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to your favorite charity.

  • Katy my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I only had the priveledge to know Keith for a short time but he was truly a remarkable person with a heart of gold and a burst of spirit. I feel honored to have gotten to take care of him before his open heart surgery on 9B and afterwards two Sunday's ago on 9A. He will be greatly missed by all. Sincerely,

  • I haven't seen Keith in 50 years, but have a tug on my heart knowing that he is now gone. I considered Keith a good friend when we were at the U. of A. together in the early '50s. I was a Pi Phi and dated in the Kappa Sig house. I have always remembered Keith as a man of great talent, with love of life, and serious potential. I believe he fulfilled his dream. My deepest sympathy to his family...
