Obituary Notice

Harry Matheson Slingsby, 84 of Little Rock died Tuesday, October 12, 2004. He was born in Roxbury, MA the son of Harry and Sidney Helena Matheson Slingsby. He was a graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago, IL and was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. After the service he joined the Teletype Co. which later became AT&T where he worked for 35 years before retiring. Harry was married for 31 years to Madelynn Shuster, who preceded him in death in 1984. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

His survivors include his two daughters, Barbara Coulam of Lockport, IL and Linda Neuman of Lake Forest, IL, his sister, Joan Greer and her husband Horace of N.Ft. Myer, FL, 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends, Patrick Holley, George Sims and Mildred Feeny.

A visitation will be held from 3-4:00 p.m. Friday at Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church officiated by Rev. John Connell. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
