Charles Edwin "Eddie" Lafferty

Obituary Notice

    Charles Edwin (Eddie) Lafferty, 58, of Conway, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2004. He was born September 29, 1945 and lived most of his life in North Little Rock but spent the last 10 years in Conway.

    He is survived by his wife, Becky Lafferty; his children, Shawn and Jessica Lafferty of Sherwood, and Kellie and Jimmy Bowers of Conway; and his brother, Mike Lafferty of North Little Rock. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Stormie, Hunter, Brice, and Colby.

    The memorial service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2004, at 3 p.m. in the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

• Becky, I'm so sorry to hear about Eddie. I didn't find out until 6 p.m. the day of his funeral or I would have been there. I had tried to find you guys the past couple of years, but didn't know you had moved to Conway. Someone had told my mom you had moved to Mayflower. I moved back from Alaska several years ago, and when mom would visit she always asked about Eddie. If there is anything at all that I can ever do, please let me know.

• Becky, It was great sadness that I learned of Eddie's passing. I have such fond memories of him and dad together. They were good times and he was truly the one best friend dad ever had. I have never known of two men who truly loved each other as they did. Everyone should experience the bond of friendship that these two shared.
