Obituary Notice

Leone (Babe) Bellingrath Jones, of Little Rock and a descendent of an early Arkansas family died Monday, December 20, 2004. She was born September 1, 1926 in Little Rock, the daughter of the late Carl Newton and Leone Umsted Bellingrath. She graduated from Little Rock High and attended Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. She was active in cultural and charitable organizations for many years. She served as an officer and on the board of the Jr. League and the boards of the Speech Correction School, and the Working Womens Home. She was a member of the Arkansas Pioneers Association of Pulaski County, the Fine Arts Club of Arkansas, the Country Club of Little Rock and Christ Episcopal Church.

Babe was the widow of Tracy Duncan Jones and is survived by their beloved children, Tracy Duncan Jones, Jr. and his wife, Suzette, Curtis Carl Jones and his wife, Mary, all of Little Rock and grandchildren, Tracy D. Jones,III Carrie Jones, Murdock Jones and Sarah Price Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Thursday, December 23 at Christ Episcopal Church. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to either Christ Episcopal Church, the Humane Society of Pulaski County or a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
