  • I never forget how David pushed me in training for the NYC Marathon. He and I spent countless hours on the roads together while he trained for the Dallas White Rock Marathon, only to develop a stress fracture days before the event. He was a great friend that I admired and respected greatly. Such a pleasant disposition I've never seen before. In stressful situations I would try and remember how David would have handled the moment. I will miss him.
