  • I worked with Shannon at Uhaul and really enjoyed her immensely. She was always a joy to be around, fun, loving, and crazy. She came in to see us here at Uhaul not to long ago, smiling from ear to ear. She looked fantastic. I'm so sorry for the grief you all must be going through. Sincerely,

  • Kathy, I can't believe we both lost our daughters the same year. I guess my mom, Mary Lelia Corley is looking after both of them now. I love you and appreciate how nice you always were to mom. I am thinking of you and will pray that god gives you comfort and puts his loving arms around you as he has to Harold and me.

  • Shannon will be missed greatly. She was a wonderful person and a wonderful friend. She always made me laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. I remember so many shows, concerts, and trips I have taken with her that were an absolute blast and times that I will always cherish with her. She has touched so many lives in such a short period. I will never forget her love for the movies Grease and Grease 2. We watched those movies so many times. Shannon was like a second sister to me. I know that she is now home with the Lord where there is no pain and suffering anymore. I will miss her always and I cherish every moment I have had with her on Earth. God has definitely brought home a true gem of a person. I wish the family of Shannon all the best. May God bless each one of them through this very difficult time. Shannon, you are loved very much and your memory will live on forever. Thank you for the memories. My family and I have always thought the world of you and always will. Goodbye for now.

  • Shannon was the sister I never had. There were more times in my life than I can count that she was there for me and saved me. I wish I could have done more for her in her time of need, but I will always love her and I know she is at peace now for the first time in a long time. I know that I will see her again someday. My 4 month old son sees angels riding on the ceiling fans in the house and now I know that he'll be seeing her and she will be watching over him. (Shannon, I love you with all my heart and I'm sorry that I could not be there due to health conditions. Just know if I was there I'd be wearing my pink and red.)
