Obituary Notice

Joseph A. Scerbo, Sr., of Little Rock, died Saturday, March 15, 2003. He was born in Italy, and at the age of 16, came to America. After 50 years in the retail floral business in Jersey City, New Jersey he and his wife Anna moved to Little Rock in 1997. He loved to maintain a vegetable garden, which include two hundred tomato plants. He would often share his bounty with family and friends. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, and a life long member of the Sons of Italy. Joseph is survived by his wife Anna Maria Aloi Scerbo of Little Rock, three son; Fred Scerbo and wife Pat of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Joseph Scerbo and wife Judi of Little Rock, Frank Scerbo and wife Sue of Birmingham, Michigan, nine grandchildren; Gina Bilger, Denise Zemanovich, Gerilyn Aspres, Lori Scerbo, Heidi Iversen, Jennifer Fehr, James Scerbo, Holly Scerbo, and Joseph Scerbo, and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary held Monday evening at 7pm at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church at 11 am, officiated by Reverend Greg Luyet and Reverend Jack Vu. Burial will be in New Jersey. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church.
