Thomas Powell of Little Rock died Monday, December 29 at
Parkview Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include his wife, Ann Powell, son Ron
Powell, 3 daughters, Laurel Childress, Karen Wright, Kathy Lewis, 6
grandchildren and one great grandchild, also two brothers, Jerry Powell and Gene
Powell and two sisters, Martha Sayen and Peggy Seaquist.
There will be a graveside memorial service Tuesday, January 6
p.m. at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock (directions
are available). Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel

With you gone so far away,
It is hard for us to live from day to day.
You give us strength and you gave us love.

You taught us how things in this world worked.
And fixed things when they were broke.

Because deep in our hearts you will never be gone.
We are thankful for everything we had with you, no matter how short a
You leaving us so suddenly was your only crime.
But you are forgiven because you had your reasons.
And the LORD above said that it was your time.
We will see you again someday.
Although it may not be tomorrow.
When we see you again,
Only then will there be no more sorrow.
