Clarice McCain
Obituary NoticeClarice McCain, age 97, of Little Rock died November 10, 2003 at her home. The first child born to the late William and Annie McCain she was preceded in death by her brother Gordon McCain and sister Ruth McCain Beck. After graduating from Little Rock High School in 1924, she went on to Draughon Business School where she studied accounting, which led to her working as an accountant for the Kroger Company for over 35 years. She was an active volunteer with the Arkansas Arts Center, and the Historic Arkansas Museum. She enjoyed traveling with her good friend, Nellie Reed. She is survived by her nephews, Gordon Beck of Little Rock and Robert Beck of Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM , Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Howard Gordon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arkansas Arts Center, PO Box 2137, Little Rock, AR 72203 or The Historic Arkansas Museum, 200 E. 3rd Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. Register Book
