Obituary Notice

Maurice Elizabeth Carter, age 87, of Little Rock passed away Saturday January 4, 2003. Maurice u s She was born on January 16, 1915 in Bald Knob and was the daughter of the late Thomas ou s Douglas & Allie Mae Carter. Miss Carter was a long time member of Oak Forrest United o MM 0 i, ethodist Church in Little Rock having joined in I 956 She was a member of the Open Door Sunday school class, served in various positions of the church administrative board and was active in the Rebecca group of United Methodist Women. She was retired from the Employment Security Division in Little Rock as a supervisor and had more than 25 years of faithful & dedicated service. At the time of her death she was active in EHC City Club (Home Extension). She was preceded in death by her sister Emma Carter and her brother Mahlon Clayton Carter. She is survived by her 3 neices Debbie Cowherd (Bob) of Little Rock, Mary Faust (Scott) of Denton & Ann Graham (Walter) of Richmond Virginia. She is also survived by several great neices & nephews, Tracie & Justin Faust, Clay Alberson, Carter Graham & Emilie Godwin. Funeral services will be Wednesday January 8, 10:00 a.m. at Oak Forrest United Methodist Church in Little Rock with the Reverend Beth Waldrup officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clay Alberson, Justin Faust, Carter Graham, Walter Graham, Scott Faust, Bob Cowherd. Memorials may be made to Oak Forrest Methodist. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home of Little Rock.
