Obituary Notice

Margaret Moore Shelton, age 89, of Little Rock, retired head of data processing for the Arkansas Health Department died Friday, October 25, 2002. Born in Little Rock, Margaret graduated from Little Rock High School and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, receiving her Masters in Business Administration. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and past member of the Primrose United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, past Grand Royal Matron of the Order of the Amaranth, Little Rock Business and Professional Women's Club, Little Rock Business Women's Social Service Club, State Hospital Auxiliary, Order of The White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Gardenia Garden Club.

She is survived by 3 nephews; Fred M. "Ricky" Moore, George E. Moore, David B. Moore, 3 nieces Katie Moore Hellums, Dianne Moore Benton, Anita Moore McGinity and many great, and great-great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Juanita who died in 1983 and Fred who died in 1950, her brother Fred Moore, Jr. who died in 1985, sister Middie Moore Smith who died in 1997 and a nephew Kenneth Poteete who died in 2001.

There will be a visitation Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. at Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a funeral service Monday at 10 A.M. at Primrose United Methodist Church officiated by Reverend Lynn Lindsey. Burial will follow at the Primrose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
