Obituary Notice

Marguerite Keller Henry, age 95, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002. She was born in Little Rock graduating from Little Rock High School, and the University of Arkansas before receiving her Masters in German from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She also was Dean of Women at Indiana University. In 1940 she married Charles Reid Henry who died in 1998. Her love of music and teaching was expressed by her teaching German at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a founding member of the Chamber Music Society of Little Rock. Mrs. Henry was a member of the American Association of University Women, the Aesthetic Club, The Woman's City Club and Grace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Elsa Henry Crocker and husband Charles of Little Rock, Kate Henry Allen of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one son Charles Reid Henry, Jr. and wife Susan of Little Rock, and three grandchildren Maggie Crocker Grove and husband David, Charles Crocker, Jr., and Lee Allen.

There will a memorial service Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church officiated by Reverend James Walter. Services are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Chamber Music Society of Little Rock.
