Obituary Notice

Norfleet Cranford Fleming, age 85, of Little Rock, died December 6, 2002 at Presbyterian Village. Predeceased by husband Lige and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Fleming is survived by sister Lucille Batte of Jackson, Mississippi; brother Lynn Cranford of Greenville Mississippi; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Neill Sloan of Lake Village; son and daughter-in-law Vic and Susan Fleming of Little Rock; grandchildren Caroline Sloan, Mary Martha Henry and husband Jason (and great-grandson Jay), and Ted Fleming, of Little Rock, Nancy Sloan of Jackson, Mississippi, and Elizabeth Fleming of Arlington, Virginia.

Mrs. Fleming was born in Seminary and spent most of her life in Jackson and Greenville, Mississippi, before moving to Little Rock in 1996. She served for many years as an assistant in the Mississippi Senate and was an avid golfer, with a hole-in-one to her credit.

Visitation will be at Ruebel Funeral Home Sunday, 2 to 4 P.M., and at Wright & Ferguson in Jackson Tuesday, 1 to 2:30 P.M., with a 3 P.M. graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock or Presbyterian Village.
