Obituary Notice

Elva Taylor, of Washington, D.C. since 1933, died September 2, 2001, at the Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton, Maryland. She was born in Fox, Arkansas May 19, 1912, and was a career federal employee serving at the Atomic Energy Commission, the Department of Agriculture, and Navy, the Executive Office of the President's Office of Emergency Management, where she received the agency's citation for her superior qualities of resourcefulness, judgment, and dependability over an extended period in the performance of her duties in the field of stockpile management.

She is survived by one sister Thelma Taylor, of Little Rock, Arkansas.

There will be a private burial of ashes Tuesday 25th in Little Rock.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
