Obituary Notice

William Carl Presley, age 84, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 6, 2001. He was born in Jamestown, Arkansas before he moved to Little Rock where he graduated from Little Rock High School. After school he joined the United States Army Air Corp serving as a First Lieutenant, bombardier on B24 bombers, in the South Pacific. He was involved with over 100 bombing missions. After the war he returned to Little Rock where he was a salesman with the Moon Distributing Company, retiring after 45 years of service. He was a member of Lakeside Country Club once serving as its president, a member of the American Legion, and Mabelvale United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Mashburn Presley of Little Rock, Arkansas, 2 daughters Jeanie P. Crouch and husband Joe of Benton, Sue Presley Clark and husband Tom Lamb of Benton, 1 sister Patricia Hamilton and husband Harold of North Little Rock, 5 grandchildren, Jeana Stout, Deana Hall, Jerrod Crouch, David Lamb, Brian Lamb, and 5 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M. at Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a graveside service Friday at 11 A.M. at Pinecrest Cemetery officiated by Reverend Steve Brizzi. 

Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to the Union Rescue Mission, Pulaski County Humane Society or Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice.
