Obituary Notice

Albert Sidney Pollard, III "Sid", 57, of Little Rock, died June 6, 2001, after a lengthy illness. Although unable to speak, Sid communicated his love for family and friends through his engaging smile and expressive eyes. Sid loved being at home surrounded by his family and participating in family gatherings. He was honored to be the first wheelchair student to graduate from Little Rock Central High in 1965. He will be remembered for his loving, giving nature by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Hart Pollard. Survivors include: his father, Albert Sidney Pollard, Jr.; brother, Hugh Hart Pollard (Amy); sisters, Nancy Blackstone (Jack) and Alice Ahart (Larry); and nieces, Julie and Elizabeth Foote. 

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 9, 2001 at 2:00 PM in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Television Ministry at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church or a favorite charity. Family visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 7, at Ruebel Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
