Obituary Notice

Geraldine Lou Haggard, aged 81, of Little Rock, died Thursday, February 24, 2000. She was born at Boynton, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Byrle and Mart Myers, and graduated from North Little Rock High School. She was past President and lifetime member of the Parent Teachers Association and a member of the Central Arkansas Women's Bowling Association.

She was a devoted housewife, loving mother and avid sports fan. Preceded in death by her husband, Macon Lawrence Haggard, survivors are a sister, Pauline D. Martin and her husband James C. Martin; two sons, George E. Haggard and his wife Brenda of Little Rock and Larry W. Francis and his wife Elaine of Birmingham, Alabama; a daughter, Glynda K. Haggard of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Susan Jetton and Amy Hancock of Birmingham, Alabama, Shannon Kelly of Coppell, Texas; and six great grandsons. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ruebel Funeral Home by Reverend Harold O. O'Bryan. Pallbearers are Teddy Burnett, Dow Currier, Jr., Billy M. Howard, Jerry Paul, Nick Pierce, and Jeff Stevens.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Arkansas.
